I would like to make a few genuine and honest observations about Mike McNamara, Realtor.

I am English and have been involved in the property business as a builder and developer for 30 years, during this time I have met and done business with literally dozens of Estate Agents (Realtors). I have never met anyone in the business like Mike. He is genuine, honest, reliable and more than helpful in a business in which he is extremely knowledgable.

I travelled to Florida on 5 separate occasions looking to purchase a second home, again I met with and spoke to many Realtor in this quest. I met Mike(head and shoulder above the rest) and soon all fell into place, we purchased the house of our dreams at Miromar Lakes.

Mike McNamara is an exceptional man and along with his wife Julie  form a formidable partnership,  not only do they go that extra mile, but that extra Marathon to help their clients achieve their dream. We certainly have, and in most part it is down to their efforts and friendliness.

I have recently returned to England with my daughter after spending a fortnight furnishing the house, Mike and Julie were there for us at every turn, we can not thank them enough.

We have become great friends and look forward to seeing them on our return to Florida for Christmas.

As soon as the sale was confirmed Julie got involved and offered her very impressive local 'shopping expertise' with regards to furnishings and finishing touches we needed in our home. The considerable time she spent driving me around and picking up things for us were 'over the top', unexpected, so helpful and very generous on her part. Many early mornings she kindly picked me up in her SUV and whisked me around to so many stores I was overwhelmed and exhausted by the end of the day, but, we got so much done in an amazingly short period of time. The stores she recommended were excellent, good quality, reasonably priced and the staff were very nice to deal with. Even after we had to return home to Canada, Julie continued to do her best to finish the decorating of our home for us. She accepted numerous furniture deliveries for us and even vacuumed while there the day our window coverings were installed! All this with no request for reimbursement other than to ensure our overall satisfaction with our home purchase.

Bill and I are thrilled with our new home in a lovely golf community in Fort Myers and look forward to spending our winters as Canadian snowbirds. It was, without a doubt, the best experience we have had in buying a home ever. You and Julie know that it takes more than real estate basics to make a house a home and ultimately, that degree of client satisfaction is paramount to you both.  It does not happen without going above and beyond the usual.

Living in the Chicago area, the internet makes it easy to search homes in Fort Myers, but how do you decide on an agent from a thousand miles away.  We checked around with friends and acquaintances but no one had any recommendations, so it was back to the internet.  After going to many agents websites and reading their information and customer recommendations I (want to make sure I get the credit for this one) came across your website and testimonials.  After reading the testimonials I said either this guy is the best agent or he has a real good writer on staff.  Having worked with you, we can clearly see the testimonials are from many people like us, people who have worked with you and know you are the best agent.

I'm not sure how many houses the average person wants to see, but we hit you with 12.  You lined them up over two days and after visiting several homes the first day you had a good feel for what we were looking for.  You made some suggestions about some other potential areas, which added a few more homes to the list, and even took us to some new construction to present us with all our options.  Your knowledge in all aspects of construction and your eye for detail in touring the homes was extremely valuable and greatly appreciated.

If you are looking to buy a property in southwest Florida and you don't use Mike McNamara as a realtor, you are making a big mistake.  We recently moved into our second home in Miromar Lakes thanks to Mike's extraordinary efforts, patience and expertise.  Mike's unsurpassed knowledge and experience span all aspects of buying a property, from advice on making an offer, through the mortgage application process, and all the details of closing.  However, beyond Mike's real estate expertise, he steered us in the right direction when selecting homeowners' insurance, buying furniture, and connecting utilities.  In fact, when we experienced difficulty in getting our water turned on, Mike went to our home personally to get it connected.

My wife Sue & I were recommended to Mike by a close friend who had property in Florida. Since we were living overseas and had not much idea as to what was available, we were very reliant on the listings and suggestions that Mike gave to us, after we had articulated our requirements. His search was thorough and he kept in close contact throughout the process. We arranged a date to go and view the listings and Mike was excellent in meeting with us and chauffeuring us around the State looking at the various properties. At all times he was objective and never pushy.

For those people, who like us, were never thrilled with the service provided by their Realtors, this is for you...

Over the past several years, we have bought, sold or leased many of our properties on our own, primarily because we were so unimpressed with the half-hearted help, multitude of mistakes and simple lack of customer service that our many real estate professionals provided. When my husband and I needed a realtor in Florida, Mike McNamara's name kept coming up.

We cannot convey to you just how much Mike does for those he works for, and how many details he sees through to the end. What Mike provides for his lucky clients, (most of whom will become friends), is not unlike a luxurious concierge service . Mike personally attended a 4-5 hour home inspection, he organized a wind mitigation inspection, thereby reducing our insurance costs, and once, he was even caught righting a fallen tree in our yard!
